Multi-Skilled Joiner

?We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in South Manchester, who are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Joiner on a six-to-eight-week contract. The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £23 CIS via an Umbrella company. Ideal candidate will have proven experience delivering high-quality carpentry and multi-trade repairs within social housing properties, with the ability to work independently, provide excellent customer service and achieve first-time fixes across tenanted and void homes. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Carrying out responsive and planned carpentry repairs within tenanted and void social housing properties Installing, repairing and maintaining doors, frames, locks, kitchens, skirting boards and architraves Completing basic multi-trade works including plumbing, tiling, patch plastering and general maintenance tasks Diagnosing faults and identifying appropriate repairs solutions Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations Liaising with tenants and housing officers to provide an excellent customer service experience Managing materials and maintaining accurate records of completed works Achieving first-time fixes and meeting agreed service level targets and timescales Experience required: Proven experience carrying out carpentry repairs and maintenance within social housing, domestic or ..... full job details .....
