Multi Skilled Fitter Location: Cirencester Job Type: 3-Month Contract Pay Rate: 18.00 per hour Job Overview We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Skilled Fitter to join a growing engineering and manufacturing team in Cirencester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical and electrical assembly background who enjoys building high-quality automation equipment and working from technical drawings. The successful candidate will play a key role in the assembly, testing, and installation of bespoke automation systems, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities As a Multi Skilled Fitter, your duties will include: Building and assembling mechanical and electro-mechanical automation equipment. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and assembly instructions. Carrying out testing and inspection of completed assemblies. Using a variety of hand and power tools to complete high-quality builds. Assembling aluminium framework and mechanical components to precise tolerances. Completing production and quality documentation accurately. Identifying and reporting any design or manufacturing improvements. Working closely with production and engineering teams to ensure projects are delivered on time. Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and adhering to all Health and Safety procedures.
