Summary:We are seeking a Multi-skilled Engineer to join our dynamic team in Aylesham, South East CT3. This permanent, full-time position is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our engineering systems. This is a hands-on role requiring both electrical and mechanical expertise, with a strong focus on reliability, continuous improvement, and root cause analysis.Responsibilities:Carry out planned preventive maintenance to ensure maximum machine uptimeRespond quickly and effectively to breakdowns and minimise production disruptionDiagnose faults using both electrical and mechanical root cause analysis techniquesSupport installation and maintenance of electrical systems (up to 400V), PLCs, and control circuitsContribute to continuous improvement and equipment optimisation projectsAssist in developing risk assessments, SOPs, and maintenance schedulesBuild strong working relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and contractorsEnsure all safety risks and breakdowns are addressed promptlyWhat we''re looking for:NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering with strong electrical and mechanical experienceExperience working in a high-volume manufacturing environmentKnowledge of PLCs and variable speed drivesProven ability to carry out root cause analysis and technical problem-solvingAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong analytical skills and experience using data to drive ..... full job details .....
