Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a secure role with a market-leading manufacturer offering excellent benefits and long-term progression?
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business within a skilled engineering team at their Cumbernauld facility.
The role offers a varied and hands-on position where you will play a key part in minimising machinery downtime, improving plant performance, and supporting continuous production operations. You''ll be working on a wide range of modern manufacturing equipment within a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with both production and engineering teams to carry out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and continuous improvement activities across the site.
The Role:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on plant machinery
- Fault finding on both electrical and mechanical systems
- Supporting production teams to minimise downtime
- Working on motors, sensors, control systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes, and drive systems
- Assisting with machinery strip-downs, repairs, and rebuilds
- Supporting continuous improvement and plant productivity initiatives
- Rotating early and back shifts Monday to Friday
The Candidate:
- Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias preferred
- Experience fault finding on single and three-phase systems
- Knowledge of servo motors, AC motors, sensors, and control systems
- Mechanical maintenance experience including gearboxes, rollers, shafts, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- PLC knowledge advantageous
- NVQ Level 3, recognised apprenticeship, or time-served experience considered
