      <description>Location: London | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | Location: Kent Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off - 2 days, 2 nights Multi Skilled Shift Engineer ensures the effective operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of machinery within a manufacturing environment, minimising downtime and supporting production targets.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform planned preventative maintenance (PPM)Diagnose and repair equipment breakdownsEnsure compliance with safety and quality standardsSupport continuous improvement initiativesMaintain accurate maintenance recordsWork with production to reduce downtimeAssist with equipment installation and commissioningMonitor site utilities (e.g., steam, air systems)Skills and ExperienceExperience in a manufacturing or FMCG environmentStrong electrical and/or mechanical skillsPLC fault finding (desirable)Problem-solving and teamwork skillsAbility to work in fast-paced, shift-based rolesSafety-focused with attention to detailQualificationsEngineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND or equivalent)Electrical certification (desirable)AdditionalSite-based role in an industrial environmentKPIs include uptime, maintenance completion and safety compliance</description>
