This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical and electrical background to work in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities:Routine Maintenance and Repairs: Perform planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of production machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.Fault Diagnosis: Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and PLC-based faults in a timely manner.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in production processes and implement effective solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs.Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.Project Work: Assist with the installation, commissioning, and upgrade of new machinery or systems.Team Collaboration: Work closely with production teams and other engineering colleagues to ensure smooth operation and address technical challenges.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, equipment faults, and improvements.Skills and Experience:Essential:Qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).Experience with both electrical and mechanical maintenance.Proven ..... full job details .....
