A leading UK food manufacturing business operating in a fast paced, high-volume environment. The site supplies a range of chilled and ready to eat products into major UK retailers and is part of a wider national network with significant scale and investment.

The Boston site employs a large workforce and plays a key role in delivering fresh, high-quality products across the UK.

The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join the site on a permanent night shift.

You will be responsible for maintaining and improving production equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and supporting operational performance across a busy FMCG manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Carry out fault finding, problem solving, and both planned and reactive maintenance
• Work across a range of production and packaging machinery
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults efficiently to minimise downtime
• Respond to breakdowns and support production to meet output targets
• Ensure all work is completed in line with food safety and health and safety standards
• Accurately complete maintenance documentation and ensure audit readiness
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance performance and reliability

The Person
• Multi Skilled Engineer with both electrical and mechanical experience
• NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent
• Background in FMCG, food manufacturing, or a similar fast paced environment
• Strong fault finding and problem-solving ability
• Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop
• Able to work independently on a permanent night shift
