The Role
As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you''ll help keep a high-volume food production site running safely and reliably.
Your responsibilities will include:
Planned preventative maintenance across production equipment
Electrical and mechanical fault finding
Responding to breakdowns and restoring equipment to operation
Working on conveyors, motors, pumps, packaging machinery and automation
Supporting production changeovers and effective shift handovers
Identifying recurring faults and improving equipment reliability
Reducing downtime and repeat failures
Maintaining accurate engineering records
Working to high standards of safety, quality and food compliance
What We''re Looking For
We''re looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer, Multi Skilled Engineer, Electrical Engineer or Mechanical Engineer with a strong hands-on approach.
You''ll ideally have:
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Engineering qualification
Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing or another high-volume production environment
Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance skills
Experience fault finding on automated machinery
Good electrical fault-finding ability
A practical approach to engineering problem solving
The ability to make decisions and work effectively under pressure
HACCP knowledge would be desirable
17th or 18th Edition electrical qualification would be beneficial but isn''t essential
