Multi-Skilled Engineer - Ely area (Food/Fresh Produce) Cambridgeshire Monday-Friday with 1 in 3 weekendsOne of the region''s leading fresh produce businesses is looking for another Engineer to join the team. They grow, pack, and supply into most of the major retailers - and if you''ve ever worked in fresh, you''ll know the kit never stops for long.You''ll be part of a small, hands-on team keeping the lines running across a mix of celery and baby leaf operations. There''s a good balance here: solid investment in equipment, supportive management, and plenty of room to get things done without layers of sign-off.What you''ll actually do:Keep production machinery running - electrical and mechanical mix.Jump on breakdowns fast and keep downtime low.Get involved in small projects, fabrication, and upgrades.Support and mentor less experienced engineers.Help manage spares and contractors.What they''re after:Multi-skilled background, ideally from food or fresh produce.Confident fault-finder who doesn''t flap under pressure.Someone who spots what needs doing and just gets on with it.Team player who''s happy to muck in and help others.The detail:Shifts: 6:00-14:30 or 9:30-18:00 (Mon-Fri)1 in 3 weekends: 7:00-15:30, with days off either sideCompetitive pay and benefitsTraining and development where you want itIf you''re the sort of engineer who takes pride in keeping things moving, you''ll probably enjoy it here. ..... full job details .....
