Multi-skilled Engineer (Monday to Friday)

We are currently looking for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join a well-established business based in the Gainsborough area. This is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday, with a competitive salary between 45,000 to 50,000, depending on experience.This position would suit a proactive and hands-on engineer with a strong background in both electrical and mechanical maintenance, ideally from a manufacturing or production environment. An electrical bias is preferred, but a good understanding of mechanical systems is also essential.Key responsibilities:- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a wide range of machinery and plant equipment- Responding to breakdowns and performing reactive maintenance.- Diagnosing faults and identifying root causes to minimise downtime- Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations- Keeping accurate maintenance records and updating the CMMS system- Supporting continuous improvement projects What we''re looking for:- Proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment- Sound electrical knowledge with mechanical competence- Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering)- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- A proactive attitude with strong fault-finding ..... full job details .....
