Based just outside of Chester, this position requires a hands-on approach to ensure the smooth operation of systems in a fast-paced environment.Client DetailsLocated in Ince, Cheshire, just outside of Chester, this biomass facility generates renewable electricity by processing waste wood that would otherwise be landfilled. It forms part of a circular economy approach, converting non-recyclable wood into low-carbon energy for homes and businesses. The site is also being developed as a potential bioenergy with carbon capture and storage (BECCS) project, aiming to remove significant volumes of CO from the atmosphere while continuing to supply clean power.DescriptionAs the Multi Skilled Engineer you will be tasked with the following; Fault finding and maintaining of plant mechanical and electrical equipment. Working in line with maintenance techniques and best practices. Undertaking / assisting in plant developments and projects. Working with the company CMMS (Maximo) to assure accurate maintenance records, and comprehensive asset data information. Participate in project support when required, leading commissioning activities and ensuring all of the required engineering documentation exists.
