Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias)
A Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias) is required in London to provide first-line mechanical maintenance across a growing portfolio of workspaces. Working as a foot-mobile engineer, you''ll diagnose mechanical, controls and electrical faults, complete repairs and minor alterations, and coordinate specialist contractors where required. The Role As the Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias), you''ll: Diagnose mechanical, controls and electrical faults and determine appropriate repairs. Replace valves, actuators, TRVs and tap cartridges and complete minor pipework alterations. Take pressure and temperature readings and complete fan and motor replacements. Carry out site inspections and identify requirements for major repairs. Oversee contractor visits and check completed works meet required standards. Support general maintenance, minor installations and light carpentry tasks. About You To be successful as the Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias), you''ll have: NVQ Level 2 or City and Guilds Level 2 in a relevant mechanical discipline. Proven experience within maintenance or construction. Practical experience using general tools and electrical equipment. Basic electrical knowledge and strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Confidence communicating with clients and working independently across multiple sites.
