Multi Skilled Engineer

Job Title: Multi-Skilled EngineerEmployment Length: PermanentLocation: Newmarket Key Responsibilities:Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment, including HVAC systems, boilers, pumps, and generators.Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates optimally and lasts longer.Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimise downtime.Coordinate repairs, upgrades, and installations with contractors and external service providers.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment logs.Assist in planning and executing projects such as equipment upgrades and system enhancements.Provide technical supportSkills and Qualifications:NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (e.g., ONC or BTEC Level 3).Proven experience in a mechanical/electrical role, ideally in facilities management or an estate environment.Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and general building maintenance.Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving mechanical/electrical issues.What you need to do now If you''re interested in this role, click ''apply now'' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn''t quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.Hays EA is a trading division of ..... full job details .....
