Multi-Skilled Engineer (Mechanical Bias)

Food Production 

Nights - Monday to Friday 10pm-6am

Salary: £50,700

Malone Group is partnering with a nationwide food manufacturing company who are looking for a Mechanically biased Shift Engineer to join their team

Your role will be to act on breakdowns to diagnose and troubleshoot faults and potentially recommend design improvements, but also have a constant eye on preventative maintenance to optimise the running and maintenance of equipment within the factory.

The company would be considered a blue-chip consumer goods manufacturer with sites across the UK

Key Requirements:

Essential:

• Minimum NVQ level 3 in Engineering and Post Apprenticeship Skill level
• Previous experience writing reports
• Data analysis and mechanical calculations experience
• Fault finding and Root Cause Analysis
• Decision Making - Makes and implements technical decisions which can impact the plan for the week.

Desirable:

• Experience of food manufacturing in a Fast Moving Consumer Goods Company
