This is a hands-on engineering role within a busy manufacturing environment, responsible for maintaining plant, machinery and site equipment through planned and reactive maintenance. The successful candidate will ideally have a electrical engineering background, supported by good mechanical maintenance and fault-finding skills. The role operates on a 2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off shift pattern, meaning you will have approximately 182 days off per year - almost half the year. This makes the position particularly attractive for engineers looking for a strong work-life balance. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance. Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults. Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and automated systems. Maintain 3-phase motors, conveyors, boilers, bearings and associated plant. Respond to breakdowns and minimise production downtime. Complete inspections, maintenance records and documentation. Support production and continuous improvement activities.
