Multi Skilled Engineer - Electrical Bias

Job Summary We are currently seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join one of our well-established food manufacturing clients in the County Durham area. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining and improving production equipment to ensure maximum efficiency, reliability, and food safety compliance. Shifts: 06:00 till 14:00 or 07:00 till 15:00 Responsibilities Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production and packaging machinery Fault finding and repair of electrical and mechanical systems Support continuous improvement and reliability projects Minimise downtime and respond quickly to breakdowns Ensure all work is carried out in line with food safety, health and safety, and site standards Skills Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer within a food/FMCG or manufacturing environment Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 / HNC / equivalent) Knowledge of conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, pneumatics, and hydraulics Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills If you are interested in this role and would like to know more, please contact Holly on (phone number removed). ..... full job details .....
