Multi-Skilled Operative Location: HertfordshireSalary: Up to £38,000 per annumHours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm About the Role Our client is looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Operative to join their property maintenance team in Hertfordshire. This is a hands-on position responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring they remain safe, compliant, and maintained to a high standard. The successful candidate will have experience across multiple trades, take pride in delivering quality workmanship, and be able to work independently while providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across residential properties. Complete a variety of repairs, including plumbing, carpentry, basic electrical work, decorating, and general property maintenance. Diagnose faults and carry out effective, high-quality repairs. Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety legislation, company procedures, and building regulations. Manage your workload efficiently to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and deadlines. Maintain accurate records of completed works, compliance checks, and materials used. Communicate effectively with tenants, clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure maintenance issues are resolved promptly.
