Multi-Skilled Engineer

Contract Personnel are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established local food processing plant, who are seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias to join their engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, supporting production through effective maintenance, fault finding and continuous improvement. The Role: As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining site equipment, ensuring production efficiency and upholding high standards of food safety, GMP and Health and Safety. Key responsibilities include: Championing and maintaining Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards across the site Fault finding and troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical and control systems Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on machinery Monitoring and optimising production processes to maximise efficiency and performance Responding promptly to breakdowns to minimise downtime Accurately recording maintenance activities and equipment performance Supporting continuous improvement initiatives Promoting and ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures Undertaking additional duties as required to support business objectives About you: Recognised qualifications or certifications in multi-skilled engineering Proven engineering experience within a food manufacturing environment Experience working with PLC systems and automation ..... full job details .....
