Multi Skilled Engineer
Role OverviewAs a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and supporting factory machinery to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant production operations. You will respond to breakdowns, carry out preventative maintenance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site.Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm with opportunity to work extra hours.Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering and MaintenanceCarry out fault finding and respond promptly to production-critical and quality-related engineering issuesPerform planned preventative maintenance and repairs on all site machinery, including grading, weighing, washing, and packing equipmentMaintain and repair mechanical systems such as motors, gearboxes, and drive systemsSupport hydraulic and pneumatic system maintenance and repairsUndertake fabrication and welding work, including both repairs and new buildsEnsure all machinery is tested, assessed, and maintained in line with engineering standardsAssist in investigating and resolving foreign object complaints, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrenceCarry out occasional maintenance of buildings and site servicesComplete accurate and timely maintenance records and documentationEnsure compliance with relevant legislation and accreditation requirementsSkills and Experience RequiredProven experience in a multi-skilled engineering role within a production or manufacturing environmentStrong mechanical engineering skillsExperience in welding and ..... full job details .....
