Multi Skilled Engineer

Multi-Skilled Engineer East Kilbride Panama Shift Alexander Steele Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established food manufacturing business to recruit a Multi-Skilled Engineer for their busy East Kilbride site. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineer to join a high-volume manufacturing operation, working as part of a strong engineering team and playing a key role in keeping production running safely and efficiently. The Role Reporting into the Engineering function, you will be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance across the site, responding to breakdowns, fault finding and supporting ongoing improvements to equipment reliability. Key responsibilities include: Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance Electrical and mechanical fault finding Responding to breakdowns and minimising downtime Supporting continuous improvement and engineering projects Working closely with Production to resolve technical issues Maintaining high standards of health and safety About You You will be a time-served or suitably qualified Multi-Skilled Engineer with experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ideally, you will have strong electrical and mechanical skills, good fault-finding ability and a practical, hands-on approach. Food/FMCG experience would be advantageous, but engineers from other high-volume manufacturing environments will also be considered.
