Multi Skilled Engineer

We are recruiting an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing environment. The role will focus on planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, equipment reliability and facilities maintenance. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned, preventive and reactive maintenance. Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults. Support machinery breakdowns and minimise production downtime. Use the CMMS system to record maintenance activities. Support continuous improvement and reliability programmes. Fault-find on electrical systems, drives and controls. Carry out basic PLC fault finding. Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings. Support facility maintenance and engineering projects. Maintain high standards of health and safety. Requirements Recognised Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Apprenticeship. 5+ years'' relevant maintenance experience. Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills. Knowledge of drives and controls; Siemens PLC experience advantageous. Ability to use workshop machinery, including lathe and milling machine. 18th Edition desirable. HNC/ONC or equivalent advantageous. Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
