Electrical engineer Commercial Facilities ManagementElectrical Engineer - Continental Shift (4 on / 4 off) - FM ContractSalary: £45,000-£47,000 + shift pattern Shifts: Continental 4 on / 4 off (days) - 06:00-18:00 and 10:00-22:00Hays are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a busy facilities team on a large, multi-building site. This is a hands-on role supporting a high-footfall environment, so you''ll be comfortable being on the move throughout the day, lots of walking, varied plant areas, and a strong mix of reactive maintenance and planned PPMs.You''ll be part of an on-site engineering function responsible for keeping building services running safely, compliantly, and efficiently, covering electrical work alongside exposure to mechanical systems and water management.The RoleYou''ll be responsible for:Electrical maintenance across a large estate (reactive and PPM)Fault-finding, repairs, and first-time fixes to minimise downtimeCompleting PPM schedules to agreed service levels and statutory requirementsSupporting day-to-day operation of building services including mechanical interfaces and water management systemsAccurate completion of job sheets / CAFM updates and maintenance recordsEscalating risks, defects, or compliance concerns promptlyWorking to high health and safety standards and site proceduresWhat We''re Looking ForEssential:Level 3 Electrical Qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 / City and Guilds Level 3 or equivalent)Experience in building ..... full job details .....
