Multi Modal Imports Coordinator

Our client is a global freight forwarding and Logistics company specialising in air freight, sea freight, road freight and contract logistics.

We are now recruiting for a Multi Modal Freight Imports Coordinator based in Wythenshawe

Key responsibilities

- Coordinate and manage freight forwarding iimport shipments
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and carriers to arrange shipping schedules, negotiate rates, and handle all necessary documentation.
- Prepare and process shipping and customs documentation.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and trade compliance policies.
- Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers and stakeholders on the status of their cargo.
- Manage multiple shipments simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.

Experience needed

- Experience of working within freight forwarding imports
- Knowledge of import procedures
- Customs regulations including national and international shipping documentation.
- Knowledge of CDS, Cargo wise and ASM Sequoia
- You will have the ability to effectively build excellent working relationships and show the ability to interact professionally with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.

Salary and Benefits
