Position: Multi-Modal Freight ForwarderLocation: ColnbrookHours: Monday - Friday, 09:00-17:00Salary: up to £35,000 (DEO)About the role

We are recruiting for our client, who has been in global logistics for over 25 years and specialises in urgent air shipments to full-vessel charters. They are a multi-modal forwarder and seek to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have a background in Multi-Modal Freight Forwarding operations, with experience dealing with freight imports, import regulations and customs clearance procedures.You must be able to drive and have your own car for this role.Responsibilities

Complete start-to-finish consignmentsBuild strong working relationships with clients, shipping lines and agents; good negotiation skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.Provide freight rates, quotes and pricing solutions for customersLiaise with overseas agents, shipping lines, merchant haulage and various carriersTrack and update delivery statuses in the company''s system and provide regular updates to clientsComplete customs proceduresEnsure compliance with import regulations and trade compliance lawsBenefits
