Mult-Skilled Engineer

Our client is an established, international food related (FMCG) manufacturer based in the Thetford area. The company has 8 manufacturing operations in the UK and Europe and is one of the leading manufacturers in it''s field with an annual turnover or 40 million, employing a loyal, dedicated and motivated team of around 80 staff. A further Multi-skilled Shift Engineer is required to join the engineering team of 6. (4 on 4 off, 12 hour shifts) Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager the Multi-skilled engineer will be responsible for the following across the site: Providing both Reactive and Planned Preventative Maintenance Maintaining a variety of Production Machinery including Conveyors, Packaging Equipment, Weighing Machinery, Bagging Machinery, Labelling Equipment and Ovens Fault Finding both Electrically (PLC faultfinding) and Mechanically Assisting in the Installation of new machinery You will have experience working within a relevant factory environment with the following skills/qualifications: Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineering Experience Relevant Mechanical/Electrical Qualifications Fault Finding Ability both Electrically and Mechanically (4 on 4 off, 12 hour shifts) Excellent Salary to suit experience 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Contributory pension, Employee discount, 4 x Life Assurance.
