About the Role
Based in Aberdeen, this permanent Mud Plant Operator or Drilling Fluids Technician post sits within a team delivering safe, reliable bulk plant services to wellsite operations. The successful candidate will blend and mix bulk products to job programme design, checking and calculating material quantities before loading. Additives must be labelled, stored safely, and empty drums and pails disposed of correctly. Daily equipment checks and general plant cleanliness form part of the routine. A valid forklift licence and B1 certification as a minimum are essential, with higher grades preferred. Salary ranges from £33,000 to £50,000 per annum.
Mud Plant Operator or Drilling Fluids Technician required with valid Forklift license, B1 min, ideally more.
You will be part of a successful team who deliver safe, efficient, and reliable product and service by managing bulk plant facilities delivering bulk materials to wellsites, maintaining quality control and procedures.
Responsibilities
Blend and mix bulk products for delivery to the wellsite, on time, according to the job program design.
Check and calculate quantities of material blends required prior to loading.
Label and store additives in a safe manner and ensure the disposal of empty drums and pails.
Maintain bulk plant equipment by performing a daily check while ensuring the bulk plant is kept clean.
