Role Overview

As an MSP Sales Engineer (SE), you will partner with MSP Channel Development Managers (CDMs) to recruit and onboard net new transacting MSPs globally within assigned territories. This is a senior, field-based technical presales role requiring deep expertise in MSP ecosystems and a consultative approach to support CDMs in prospecting, demoing, and closing new MSP partnerships. You will leverage your technical and sales acumen to showcase IRONSCALES’ solutions, handle objections, and ensure seamless handoffs to post-sales Partner Success Managers (PSMs). Multi-lingual candidates with fluency in additional EMEA languages (e.g., French, German, Spanish) are highly preferred.Core Responsibilities

Collaborate with CDMs to identify, engage, and close net new MSP partners in your assigned territories, balancing inbound leads and outbound prospecting based on IRONSCALES’ MSP IPP.Lead technical product demos and sales presentations (in-person and virtual), addressing prospect MSP inquiries and objections with confidence and expertise.Provide deep technical insights into IRONSCALES’ AI-driven email security solutions, articulating value to MSPs and their clients.Support CDMs in establishing trusted advisor relationships with prospective MSPs, identifying upsell and expansion opportunities during the recruitment process.Facilitate thorough handoffs of new MSPs to PSMs, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.Advocate for prospect MSP needs cross-departmentally, collaborating with marketing to provide sales and technical collateral, training, and support.Maintain accurate pipeline hygiene, forecast technical requirements, and communicate actively across teams to drive results.Presentations and trainings onsite and virtual with MSPs, MSP Distributors, and OEM partners of IRONSCALESTravel 25-50% for events, partner meetings, and demos, adapting to seasonal demands.Requirements

7+ years in a technical sales or presales role, with proven experience working with MSPs, VARs, DMRs, or cybersecurity vendors (SaaS preferred).Deep familiarity with MSP ecosystems, including RMM/PSA tools, distribution channels, OEM partnerships, and cybersecurity/email security solutions.Multi-lingual proficiency (e.g., English + French, German, Spanish) is a major bonus to support EMEA markets.Exceptional presentation and objection-handling skills, both in-person and virtual, with a consultative, customer-centric approach.Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles, multiple projects, and technical discussions simultaneously with strong attention to detail.Comfortable with pipeline management, forecast accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration.Entrepreneurial mindset, high-energy personality, and a passion for exceeding recruitment and technical enablement targets.Flexibility to travel 25-50% based on business needs.Bold, results-driven, and obsessed with winning while maintaining excellent listening and negotiation skills.Why Join IRONSCALES
