MSG47 Operative

We are currently seeking an experienced HSG47 Operative to join our client-on a National Grid project.

Requirements:

• Valid National Grid Person ticket (essential)
• Valid HSG47 qualification and experience in safe excavation practices
• Competent in the use of CAT & Genny equipment to locate underground services
• Previous experience working on civil engineering, utilities, or National Grid projects
• Good understanding of site health & safety procedures
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team

Duties:

• Carry out underground utility detection using CAT & Genny in accordance with HSG47 guidance
• Identify, mark, and protect buried services prior to excavation works
• Assist in ensuring all excavations are carried out safely and in compliance with National Grid procedures
• Complete required documentation and report any discrepancies or hazards
• Follow site instructions and National Grid safety standards
• Assist with general site duties when required
