About the Role
As an MRI Radiographer- Midlands, you will undertake high-quality imaging examinations for patients in Burton-On-Trent, supporting diagnosis and treatment across various clinical specialties. About the Role:
As an MRI Radiographer, you will deliver high-quality MRI imaging to patients, supporting their diagnosis, treatment, and recovery across a variety of clinical specialties. You will work closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide precise, patient-centred care while upholding the highest professional standards.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Performing MRI examinations to a high clinical standard
- Preparing patients for scans, including screening for contraindications and administering contrast agents safely where required
- Positioning patients accurately to obtain optimal quality images
- Monitoring patient comfort and safety during and after examinations
- Maintaining detailed and accurate records of examinations performed
- Ensuring correct use, calibration, and quality control of imaging equipment
- Providing support and reassurance to patients before, during and after examinations
- Collaborating with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Participating in quality assurance and MRI safety procedures
- Assisting in the education and training of junior staff and students
- Keeping up to date with advancements in MRI techniques and equipment
Who We Are Looking For:
- Relevant degree or postgraduate qualification in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent recognised qualification
- Typically 6 months or more of experience working as an MRI Radiographer within a clinical or hospital environment
Skills:
- In-depth understanding of MRI imaging principles and safety protocols
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Proficiency with MRI imaging systems and equipment
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity
