Movement Planner – We are looking for an ambitious Driver Planner to join our Planning Team. You will help new Drivers develop into efficient, successful Engineius Drivers by providing support and on-the-job training, while using our in-house software to plan and distribute movements to Drivers across the UK.Responsibilities
Guide new Drivers through onboarding and complete inductions.Deliver support and on-the-job training to help Drivers become competent and self-sufficient.Monitor Driver performance and provide timely feedback and coaching.Support the wider planning team with Transporters, Contracted Drivers and replanning due to last-minute changes as required.Handle inbound and outbound communications and update internal systems as required.What Characteristics Are We Looking For
Essential:Experience in transport planning.Highly computer literate and comfortable learning new IT systems. We are a technology-led company, and we work exclusively on software and online platforms.Proven attention to detail in a fast-moving environment with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.Strong geographical knowledge of mainland UK.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.A can-do attitude, with a willingness to devise and adopt new ways of working, or different processes, and to learn from these successes and failures.Great time management and organisation with attention to detail.Genuine desire to take responsibility.Desirable:Desire to embrace change in the logistics industry. Some public transport knowledge/experience is advantageous but not essential.What’s In It For You
