Moulding Technician

DK Recruitment are working with a global Manufacturer who are looking to offer an experienced and qualified Moulding Technician a new career and join their successful team based in Plymouth. Main responsibilities: Operating injection moulding machines to produce plastic components according to specifications. Troubleshooting any issues with the machines or processes through root cause analysis and technical fault finding (Mechanical and Electrical). Completion of routine planned maintenance - Weekly, Monthly and 6 Monthly. Assisting PM Technician with annual maintenance tasks on machines. Working safely and adhering to all health and safety regulations and internal procedures. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste (e.g. 5S, Gemba Activities, Kaizen, TIMWOODS) Collaborating with all members of shift core team including Operators, Quality Technicians, Engineers and Shift Leaders. Documenting production data and maintaining accurate records through SAP. Conducting regular inspections of equipment and materials to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Maintaining a clean and organized work area. Experience/Qualifications: Level 3 qualification in an engineering discipline is essential for this position.
