Moulding Setter/ Supervisor

Due to continued growth and expansion, an excellent opportunity has arisen within one of our long established clients for a Moulding Setter/Supervisor to join thier night shift team on a permanent basis in Rochester.The position would suit an experienced Setter looking to progress into supervision, or an established Supervisor who enjoys a hands-on technical role.Hours: Monday-Thursday, 5:45pm-4:00am (39 hours per week) The RoleReporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient running of the night shift, leading a team of 6 operators.Key responsibilities include:Setting and operating injection moulding machines.Carrying out mould tool changes.Troubleshooting machine, mould and process issues.Optimising cycle times and production efficiency.Ensuring quality standards and production targets are met.Leading and supporting the night shift team.Maintaining high Health and Safety and housekeeping standards.Completing production and quality records.Supporting continuous improvement initiatives.What We''re Looking ForEssential:Previous Injection Moulding Setter or Technician experience.Strong knowledge of injection moulding and troubleshooting.Experience with mould tool changes.Good understanding of quality and manufacturing procedures.Ability to work independently and make decisions on night shift.Strong communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach.High commitment to Health and Safety.Desirable:Supervisory or team leader ..... full job details .....
