About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and commercially driven

Head of Business / General Manager

to lead our motorcycle dealership in Christchurch. This is an exciting opportunity to take charge of a dynamic and passionate business, with full responsibility for driving sales, aftersales, profitability, and customer experience.

Responsibilities

Take full PandL ownership of the dealership, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.

Lead, motivate, and develop managers and their teams across sales, service, and parts.

Deliver outstanding customer experiences that reflect the passion and lifestyle of the motorcycle community.

Build strong manufacturer, supplier, and customer relationships to support business objectives.

Implement effective business strategies, processes, and KPIs to drive performance.

Ensure compliance with brand, group, and regulatory standards.

Recruit, coach, and retain high-performing individuals, fostering a positive culture and strong team spirit.

About You

Previous senior management experience within the motorcycle or automotive retail sector (Head of Business, Dealer Principal, General Manager, or equivalent).

Strong financial and commercial acumen, with a proven track record of delivering against PandL targets.

Passion for motorcycles and the lifestyle that comes with them, with the ability to engage with customers authentically.

Inspirational leader who can motivate teams and create a high-performance culture.

Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance strategy and day-to-day operations.
