Are you an experienced Motor Vehicle Mechanic ready to pass on your skills to the next generation?

We''re working with a leading college in Stoke / Crewe that has recently invested heavily in its state-of-the-art automotive workshops, offering training in both Light and Heavy Vehicle disciplines. They are now looking for a passionate professional to join their team as a Workshop Instructor.

About the Role

As a Workshop Instructor, you''ll deliver practical sessions to students on a range of motor vehicle programmes up to Level 3. You''ll:

• Deliver high-quality hands-on instruction in motor vehicle maintenance & repair
• Supervise and support learners in workshop activities
• Maintain accurate records and assist with assessments
• Ensure all health & safety standards are upheld
• Support departmental events such as open days and enrolment
• Help maintain tools, equipment, and workshop spaces to industry standards
• Contribute to curriculum development and innovation with your industry experience

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold a Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Service or Maintenance
• Have proven hands-on mechanical experience
• Be confident across a range of areas such as engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrics, and tractor technology
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bring patience and the ability to support apprentices'' development
• Be passionate about inspiring the next generation of automotive professionals
• Teaching qualifications are advantageous but not essential - full training is provided
