Motor Vehicle Technician

Hours are 8.30 to 5.30 Monday to Friday.No weekend working.Redburn Bosch Car Service is a family ran business. We are also an accredited AA and RAC repair centre.Due to the acqusition of a second site, we are looking to recruit a number of technicians to add to our 7 strong Technician team.Salary based on experience with optional overtime available.Responsibilities:- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs according to established guidelines and procedures- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with vehicles- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles- Use power tools and hand tools to repair and maintain vehicles- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and questions- Keep accurate records of work performed and parts usedQualifications:- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude- Experience with vehicle repair, maintenance, and diagnostics- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for vehicle repairs- Welding experience is a plus- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as needed- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail- Strong communication skills, both verbal and writtenNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
