Motor Vehicle Technician

Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician looking for a new role with a fantastic family run business? What they are offering: Full Time/permanent £30,000 - £38,000 per year. (Dependent on experience) Fantastic and achievable performance bonus Monday Friday (8:30am - 6pm) Saturday mornings will be required on a rota basis Key Responsibilities: Carry out services on all makes and models of vehicles Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles - such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation Identify issues with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment General maintenance and repairs Brakes checks and changes (pads and discs) MOT Testing if you have the required certification Suspension work Repairs on lights Repairing and replacing exhausts Repairing and replacing clutches Dealing with gearboxes MOT prep and Post MOT repairs Wheel alignment Repairing and replacing steering racks Plan and keep up to date records of repair procedures using charts manuals and experience. Test the functionality of parts and systems once repairs are completed Vehicle Technician Requirements: MUST have an NVQ/City and Guilds/IMI certifications required to Level 2 or Level 3 accepted with a minimum of 3 years services Hold a full valid UK driving licence. MOT Test certificate - Beneficial but not essential F Gas accreditation desirable but not essential Level 2 or 3 qualification in electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles essential but not essential.
