We are currently recruiting Motor Vehicle Lecturers to support Carlisle College. This is a great opportunity for experienced lecturers or professionals from the sector looking to move into teaching.

The Role

As a Motor Vehicle Lecturer, you will deliver engaging lessons and support learners preparing for careers in healthcare and social care settings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering Motor Vehicle lessons (BTEC or City & Guilds)
  • Supporting coursework and assignment completion
  • Preparing learners for placements and employment
  • Monitoring learner progress and providing feedback
  • Promoting safeguarding and professional standards

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in Automotive or related field
  • Teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience with BTEC or City & Guilds (desirable)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
