Motor Underwriting ExecutiveNext Chapter Talent is partnering with a well-established and forward-thinking insurance business to recruit a Motor Underwriting Executive. This is a key hire within their underwriting function, offering exposure to bespoke and niche motor insurance schemes and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on underwriting performance.This role sits at the heart of the underwriting operation, supporting the Head of Underwriting and underwriting team while acting as a key point of contact for Sales, Insurers, and Operations.The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing referrals, supporting underwriting decisions, and ensuring risks are assessed accurately, commercially, and in line with agreed business rules and compliance standards.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the first point of contact for underwriting queries from the sales floor, providing clear, timely, and commercially sound guidance.Manage and respond to internal and external underwriting referrals, including insurer referrals where required.Take ownership of in-house referrals from the sales team, ensuring risks are clearly presented and decisions appropriately documented.Confidently present risks to bespoke underwriters and agree terms within delegated authority.Maintain accurate and compliant administration and filing for insurer and product documentation.Assist with the generation and analysis of scheme performance data, using internal systems to support underwriting ..... full job details .....
