Job description:Overview At Firstcall MOT and Service Centre we are seeking a skilled MOT Tester/Mechanic to join our long-established family run professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting MOT''s, diagnosing mechanical issues, and performing repairs to ensure vehicles meet legal and safety requirements. Applicants must possess strong mechanical knowledge and be capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesConduct MOT tests in accordance with legal and safety standards, accurately assessing the vehicles condition.Diagnose and fix mechanical faults using specialised tools and equipment, determining appropriate repair solutions.Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment.To work both as a team or independently.Provide good customer service where required.ExperienceCurrent MOT tester certificate and relevant vehicle mechanic qualifications.Strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems and components.Proven experience as a diagnostic mechanic with strong trouble shooting skills.Why join us£35,000 per year plus Bonus.Company pension.Mon-Fri working.A supportive and friendly working environment.20 days holiday plus Bank holidays along with 3 days extra at Christmas.Job Type: Full-timeAbility to commute/relocate:Exeter EX2 8DD: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Licence/Certification:MOT tester certificate ..... full job details .....
