MOT Tester/TechnicianA great opportunity is now available for an experienced MOT Tester to join a well-established and expanding tyre and auto care business for their busy site in Shrewsbury.You will carry out statutory MOT testing in line with DVSA regulations, ensuring all vehicles meet required safety and environmental standards. The role is essential in maintaining legal compliance, upholding the company''s quality and workmanship standards, and delivering clear, accurate, and professional vehicle assessments to customers.The business takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service and you''ll be working on a variety of vehicles within a friendly, supportive and modern workshop environment. Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out MOT testing in accordance with DVSA regulations, ensuring full legal and procedural compliance.Inspect vehicle systems and components including brakes, steering, suspension, lights, tyres, and exhaust systems.Perform diagnostics, servicing, and mechanical repairs across a wide range of makes and models.Complete brake, tyre, and wheel alignment work to a high standard where required.Record MOT results, job cards, and maintenance documentation, providing clear feedback on vehicle condition.Use hand tools and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively to complete repairs and inspections.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MOT regulations, testing procedures, and industry best practice.Skills and ExperienceA valid MOT Tester ..... full job details .....
