Mot Tester/ technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled MOT Tester to join our team in ensuring vehicles meet safety and environmental standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be proficient in using hand and power tools.

Duties
- Conduct MOT tests on vehicles in line with DVSA standards
- Identify and report vehicle defects accurately
- Perform necessary repairs or adjustments to meet compliance requirements
- Utilize diagnostic equipment effectively
- Maintain accurate records of tests conducted

Experience
- Essential:
- Mechanical knowledge
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting
- Nice-to-have:
- Previous experience as an MOT Tester
- Familiarity with vehicle diagnostic software
