MOT Tester Technician - Mon to Fri 40 hours

HiQ Tyres and Autocare has an exciting new opportunity for a MOT Tester Technician to join the team at the Henley on Thames Centre. The role is full-time permanent, Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm. No weekends or Bank Holidays. Salary negotiable depending on experience.What you will be doing as a MOT Tester Technician

Work on all makes and models of vehiclesPerform diagnostics, servicing, and repairsHandle brakes, tyres, and wheel alignmentInspect vehicle components, including brakes, lights, steering, and exhaust systemsConduct MOT tests on various types of vehicles, ensuring compliance with legal requirementsUse hand tools and power tools effectively to perform necessary repairs or adjustmentsDocument test results accurately and provide feedback to vehicle owners regarding any issues foundStay updated on changes in MOT regulations and testing proceduresMaintain health and safety standards, working within company guidelines and safe working practicesComplete job cards, maintenance records, and associated paperwork to a high standardUndertake any additional duties (within reason) for the efficient running of the StoreCarry out administration duties as required within the storeAssist in regular stock checks in accordance with Company PolicyWhat you will need

Experience within a fast-fit car centre or a recognised vehicle franchise dealershipStrong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power toolsA valid MOT Tester licence is essentialVehicle technician qualification and relevant experienceMust have a full driver’s licence with no more than 9 pointsBenefits
