We are seeking a skilled and qualified MOT Tester to join our busy fleet maintenance team. Working within our fully equipped council workshop, you will be responsible for conducting MOT tests and ensuring a high standard of vehicle roadworthiness and compliance in line with DVSA regulations. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the maintenance of a safe and reliable fleet that directly supports services across the city.Key Responsibilities: Carry out MOT tests (Class 4 and 7) on a variety of council and public vehicles, in accordance with DVSA standardsEnsure all documentation is accurately completed and updatedPerform safety inspections, diagnostics, and minor repairs as neededMaintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety regulationsAssist with the upkeep and compliance of workshop equipmentLiaise professionally with colleagues, service users, and external partnersSupport the wider fleet maintenance team when required The hourly pay rate for this role is 18.10 Ltd (PAYE equivalent 15.53 Inclusive of holiday).
