MOT Tester

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable family-run automotive service centre based in Frome, Somerset, operating for over 25 years. They are seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join their friendly team. The MOT Tester will play a key role in maintaining high standards of vehicle safety and regulatory compliance within the workshop. Benefits: Up to £40,000 per annum starting salary, dependent on experience Overtime paid at enhanced rates of time and a half, subject to availability 20 days'' annual leave plus 8 bank holidays Workplace pension scheme Free on-site parking Opportunities for further technical training Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm, with 1 in 2 Saturdays, 8:30am-1:00pm, paid as overtime Join a well-established, family-run business with a supportive working environment Duties: Conduct MOT tests in compliance with legal and safety standards Perform taxi inspections, VSI checks, and minibus inspections Carry out routine vehicle inspections and identify potential issues Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment Liaise effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow Keep accurate records of all tests and inspections Requirements: Active Class 4/7 MOT testing licence UK driving licence with minimal points A Class 5 MOT licence would be highly beneficial but is not essential Strong team player with excellent communication skills Good organisational skills ..... full job details .....
