MOT Tester

We are currently recruiting for a talented MOT Tester to join a reputable automotive workshop in Leighton Buzzard.

Our client, a well-established family-run business, is seeking a dedicated MOT Tester to ensure vehicle safety standards are maintained and customer satisfaction remains high. Benefits:

• Competitive salary between -33,000 and -38,000, depending on experience
• Monday to Friday working hours, 8:20am to 5:40pm

Duties:

• Perform MOT tests in compliance with DVSA regulations as an MOT Tester
• Diagnose faults and advise customers on necessary repairs
• Assist with general servicing and minor repairs when required
• Accurately complete all relevant documentation and records
• Ensure all vehicles meet safety and environmental standards as an MOT Tester
• Provide excellent customer service and technical support to the workshop team

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 qualification or relevant proven experience
• Current MOT Testing Licence
• Full UK driving licence
• Previous experience working within an automotive workshop
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Own tools suitable for MOT testing and minor repairs
