Mot Tester

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MOT Tester to join our team in the Guilford GU6Area . The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of vehicles to ensure they meet safety and environmental standards. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with power and hand tools, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed. You will be the main tester so experience is crucia.

Monday - Friday 08.30 - 17.30 Every other Saturday morning 08.30 - 1300

Salary is -39000 plus bonus giving an ote in excess of -40,000

21 days personal holiday plus all bank holidays

You must hold a full Uk driving licence and have tools

Duties

• Conduct MOT tests on a variety of vehicles, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
• Identify and diagnose vehicle faults, providing accurate reports on findings.
• Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to perform necessary repairs
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding test results and any required repairs.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in legislation and testing procedures to ensure compliance.

Experience

• Proven mechanical knowledge is essential for diagnosing vehicle issues accurately.
• Experience using power tools and hand tools in a workshop environment
• Previous experience as an MOT Tester with a live Mot certificate
