We''re looking for a qualified MOT Technician (Class 4 and 7) to join a busy and professional workshop team in Burton upon Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tester who takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work while maintaining the highest standards of road safety and compliance. What you''ll be doing: Carrying out MOT tests on Class 4 and Class 7 vehicles in line with DVSA standards Identifying and recording defects, failures and advisories accurately Using approved MOT testing equipment and MTS systems Communicating test results clearly with colleagues and customers Completing authorised repairs relating to MOT failures where required Maintaining a clean, safe and organised testing environment Ensuring full compliance with DVSA procedures and audit requirements Supporting workshop technicians with MOT preparation when needed Managing work and job progress through the workshop management system What we need: Valid MOT Tester Licence for Class 4 and 7 vehicles Previous experience in an MOT testing or workshop environment Strong knowledge of DVSA testing procedures and regulations Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively Full UK driving licence Desirable skills: NVQ ..... full job details .....
