Monitoring Officer - Mid and East Antrim Borough Council Larne Join Mid and East Antrim Borough Council as a Monitoring Officer in Larne and play a key role in the inspection and monitoring of all council properties to ensure compliance with statutory legislation relating to building maintenance. What you''ll be doing in this role: Carry out weekly and monthly tests in all council premises of emergency lighting systems, fire alarm systems, intruder alarm systems, fire-fighting equipment, domestic hot water systems, legionella checks and emergency door operation and advise on appropriate action required. Monitor and record all test and checks and maintain up to date building logbooks and certificates ensuring information is maintained within the call logger system. Adhere to and comply with all Council policies and procedures relevant to this role, including arrangements for risk management. Carry out maintenance tasks as necessary when noted during routine inspections including replacement of emergency and ordinary light fittings, fire extinguishers and break glass call points.
