Job Type: Full-time, Temporary 3-month contractLocation: Central London / HybridRate: £33.62 per hour PAYE / £45.74 per hour UmbrellaThe Greater London Authority (GLA) is seeking a skilled Monitoring and Evaluation Lead to support the delivery of a high-profile Strategic Licensing pilot. This pivotal role will ensure robust evidence is gathered to assess the implementation, effectiveness and impact of new licensing powers, supporting informed decision-making and future policy development. The successful candidate will act as the organisation''s expert on monitoring and evaluation, providing strategic oversight and driving best practice across complex, cross-organisational programmes.Day-to-day of the role:Lead the monitoring and evaluation of the Strategic Licensing pilotDevelop and implement evaluation frameworks, KPIs and theories of changeManage externally commissioned evaluation and analysis projectsEnsure evaluation activity aligns with best practice and recognised guidanceReview quantitative and qualitative data to assess policy impact and outcomesQuality-assure interim and final evaluation reportsProvide clear, evidence-based advice to senior stakeholdersWork closely with policy teams, analysts and external partnersPresent findings and insights to internal and external audiencesIdentify risks, gaps and opportunities for improvementEnsure evaluation considers impacts on London''s diverse communitiesSupport continuous improvement of evaluation approaches and ..... full job details .....
