Great British Nuclear (GBN) is a new government arm''s length body supporting the delivery of Britain''s energy security and net zero, making sure that we can power Britain from Britain sustainably. It has been set up to turn nuclear ambition into reality. This is an exciting and critical time to bring your experience and expertise to GBN. The SMR Programme is GBN''s first programme which will deliver initial SMR projects, to enable future fleet deployment of SMRs, and maximizing their benefits for the UK. The role sits within the SMR Programme Directorate, specifically in the Value Analysis Team. The team''s mission is to define, deliver and demonstrate the value of the SMR Programme. Monitoring and evaluation is central to this-providing the evidence needed to make informed decisions that drive value, while also demonstrating the benefits of the programme and the potential of future projects. We are looking for a Monitoring and Evaluation champion who brings a strong mix of analytical rigour, strategic insight, and clear communication skills to lead the development and implementation of the GBN Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) strategy.
